Thermography
Temperature is critical in industrial processes, and thermography makes heat visible. A thermal camera converts infrared radiation from the machine into a visual image. The production process itself can be optimized by using these thermal images.
For a more measurable temperature indication, contact thermometers are often used. This method is safer than using the back of the hand, but similar in terms of safety. For dangerous and hard-to-reach places, infrared thermometers are often used. Infrared thermometers measure the average temperature of an area, and for accurate measurements, the user often needs to be close to the machine. Thermography makes heat visible. A thermal camera converts the infrared radiation from the machine into a visual image.
Various temperatures are indicated using different colors or grayscale. Thermal cameras allow temperature comparisons across a large area, making it easier to detect critical spots that may cause issues. When the cost of a thermal camera is compared to the savings from reduced downtime and maintenance costs, the camera pays for itself in a short amount of time.

Since 2011, new legal requirements have been set for the efficiency of electric motors, including labeling the efficiency level with IE (International Efficiency). The higher the number after ‘IE,’ the higher the efficiency of the electric motor.
