Experience
Pro Rotating currently has 75 employees working from Spijkenisse, Amsterdam, and Groningen. The Pro Rotating team has extensive experience in advising, maintaining, and overhauling Rotating Equipment. Several specialists have previously worked for Gérard Services BV. One of the individuals with this experience is Rob Gérard, with the following history:
Gérard Services BV
In 1994, Rob Gérard started a business from his attic, focused on advising and selling shaft seals. Due to the high demand, his attic was quickly exchanged for a business premises in Meppel, where he also added the overhaul and supply of pumps to his services. In the following years, the company experienced significant growth in both size and activities, opening several branches. The company specialized in supplying new pumps, electric motors, and shaft seals, and obtained official distributorships. The service and overhaul department expanded to include a division dedicated to improving maintenance through condition monitoring.
After several collaborations and acquisitions, Rob Gérard transitioned to the oil and gas industry, where he focused on reactivating oil and gas fields. Additionally, Rob Gérard spent the last two years at Maintenance Partners before founding Pro Rotating BV, where he was responsible for contracts and the sales department in Belgium.
Since the founding of Pro Rotating BV in 2013, the company has experienced significant growth, including the acquisition of Maintenance Partners in Rotterdam. Previously an ABB service workshop, Maintenance Partners specialized in the service, maintenance, and overhaul of electric motors.
